How to make chicken biryani (Ingredients):
Chicken 1.25 kilograms
Rice 1 kilogram
Ginger(adrak) and garlic(lasan) 2 tablespoon (paste)
Salt As per your taste
Onion (finely chopped) 3 medium size
Tomato (chopped) 6 medium size
Curd (dahi) 1 bowl
White Cumin (safaid zeera) 1 teaspoon
Turmeric (haldi) powder 1 teaspoon
Red chilli powder (lal mirch) 2tablespoon
Coriander (dhaniya) powder 1 tablespoon
Garam masala (powder) 1 tablespoon
Green chilli (finely chopped) 6-8
Green coriander (hara dhaniya) finely chopped half bowl
Mint leaves (podina) finely chopped half bowl
Garam masala 2 tablespoon
Sweet yellow rice (zarda) colour 1 pinch
Milk 1 bowl
kewra essence few drops
Cooking Oil 1 bowl
How to make chicken Biryani
METHOD:
Heat cooking oil in a Degchi(big pan) on a medium flame for 3 to 5 minutes and then put Garam masala in it. After sometime add onion in it and fry until brown.
Now put Ginger, garlic, turmeric powder and cumin and mix it for 3 minutes, after that add tomatos and cook until the tomato's are fully cooked.
When the tomatos are fully cooked and are in a form of paste, then add chicken, salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, green chilli, green coriander and mint leaves. Then add curd and mix it completely and cook it for about 12 to 15 minutes.
Now take the rice and boil it. Remember do not boil it as you do it usually. Boil it only 75% and strain hte water.
Now in a big Degchi speard the cooked chicken and on that spread a layer of 75% boiled rice.
Now mix the sweet yellow rice powder in milk and spray it on rice. Enjoy delicious chicken biryani
